Bellhaven Tech Campus Wayfinding Map

Commissioned by the facilities team of a seven-building technology campus, this wayfinding map was built directly from the original architect’s site plans rather than an aerial photograph, which let building entrances, courtyard paths, and parking structure levels stay accurate down to the individual entrance door.

The brief called for a version legible printed at 36 × 48 inches for lobby signage and, from the same source file, a letter-size handout for new-hire orientation packets — both produced from a single master illustration rather than two separately drawn pieces, so any future campus change only needs updating once.

Building names on campus had drifted informally over the years (several buildings were known internally by a nickname rather than their official letter designation); the studio’s discovery process involved a walk-through with the facilities team specifically to confirm which name each audience — visitors versus staff — actually needed on the map.
